I picked up some Stetson lotion at Walmart at half off after Christmas Last winter. I recently tried using, but forgot how sweet it is. Any ideas on taming the sweetness a bit, such as a woody or spicy essential oil? What might make it smell a bit deeper or earthy, yet still retain some of its' scent profile? Any suggestions appreciated.

Try switching to English Leather

1. cut it with either witch hazel or alcohol.

You could try pairing it with another AS or EDT like maybe Drakkar Noir? Aramis has a nice Cedar, Oakmoss woodsy smell. Play around with it a bit.
