What's new

Staying in Washington state, What should I do?

Going on a work trip, 30 days at Puget Shipyard.

It is in Bremerton, near Seattle.

Wondering what is fun, good restauraunts, things to see any good shaving places?

Been a while since I have been but good Asian food. If you like wine there is good wine coming from the state. Ton of outdoors things to do.

My oldest son is in Kirkland so we get there several times a year. There is no shortage of great things to do. Ray's is a great restaurant that we like to go to often. Try to get a seat outside on a nice night and watch the sun set on the mountains. I would skip the restaurant in the space needle as it is very over rated and not worth the price. You have to visit Pike Place Market. It is a place that is fun and great place to eat. Not far away in an alley is the "Gum Wall" outside of a theater that is unique and fun just to say you have seen it. There is more but that is a start. If you will have a car, that a long day trip through Stevens pass and some of the winery tours are great as well.

Regards,

Doug

My mother lives in Issaquah..so I visit a number of times a year. I highly recommend taking some kiteboarding lessons! It's extremely windy in Seattle almost year round...
