Star SE Bar Razor

I am a big fan of Gem Junior Bar razors, and came across the following razor today. Does anyone know the history behind this particular model? Clearly it has a similar design to a Gem - or seems to based on the photos - and it makes me wonder if Gem made them for Star?

Gem, Star, and Ever-Ready were all ASR brands when this razor was made. Gem was founded by a former Kampfe Bros. employee.

yes poon, you have a 1930's star by kampfe brothers. i can tell by inside of case, it has yellow lining, the 1920's had a darker color inside..really nice set.

Thanks, gentlemen. I seem to recall reading posts by one or both of you in the past stating the lineage, but I could not find it. As usual, thanks for the wealth of information.
