Staples Deal - Pilot Metropolitan

Staples, as well as isellpens.com, are selling these for about $10 for Black Friday (no affiliation with either seller). Staples is offering free shipping and selling them for $5 if you buy a bottle of Iroshizuku ink with the pen and use their 5 digit coupon code.

Just thought someone might find this one useful (I did, anyway).

Hmm. That Staples link sends me to a page for Kleenex products, with no mention of a coupon code. Still, it's interesting to read that they sell Iroshizuku ink. Just ordered some from another online seller last week.

I made a thread in shopping and deals with Doug that has some other nibby goodness too... I just picked up the iron(mumble) ink sample from goulet to have some fun with

Holy Moly, that ink is $30.00 a bottle!!!

Nice. I just grabbed a Metropolitan from Goulet. It's the first FP I've written with in a long time, but seemed awesome to me. Very smooth with the included cartridge ink. I have yet to try it with any other inks, but it's looking good so far. It seems well made and a bargain even at the 15 bucks I paid.

It's to bad the ink guys don't do what the shave soap guys do... offer the expensive cool looking bottle with ink then cheap replacement plastic bottled inks to refill with after

I dropped by a local Staples when I was coming home today -- no dice. Internet sales only.

The Canadian staples doesn't have the pilot ink or anything cool... and I think they just redirect you to the .ca if you try to order from .com
