Does it matter if the brush is left standing or does it need to be upside down? I just got the first EJ brush and thought it came with a stand, but it doesn't.

Yep...pretty much what he said. I stand mine up on end with the brushes facing up because I dont have any cool stands or anything and it works just fine for me.
