Standard Razors?

Is anybody familiar with this brand of razor? I don't think I've seen any talk about it on B&B.

Never heard of them but they seem kind of expensive at $69 for a chinese razor.

They’ve been around for years and don’t seem to have changed much, if at all. There was a brief moment maybe 5-7 years ago when they were semi-popular.

I had one for awhile. Well-made and easy to use. Quite mild. For me, it paired nicely with German Wilk blades. All aluminum but with a stainless steel retaining bolt attached to the handle instead of the baseplate. The bolt is more secure that way, especially with an aluminum baseplate. The bolt is also removable so the handle can be used with other razor heads.

In spite of the positives, I sold the razor on BST because it was lighter in weight than I prefer.

But I held onto the razor stand, and I use it regularly. It’s the best stand I’ve seen. It has a wide enough hole to fit just about any handle, a notch on the top so a razor can be mounted horizontally, and a drain hole on the bottom. Someone really thought this one through.
