Stains more specifically coffee stains

So apparently I'm really clumsy, and a lot of times I get more food on me than in my mouth. One of the most annoying things I do sometimes is i get too antsy when I get my cup of coffee in the morning, and even though I know its going to be hot, I still take a sip and end up spitting some out because I burned my mouth and boom...coffee stained everything. It's become such a normal occurrence that I now keep a few extra shirts in the office.

So what do you guys do to help combat stains? Any thing you can do on the go to get rid of the stain? or am I doomed to forever having to have extra shirts in my desk at work?

Coffee or latte with ice. At Starbucks just say make it 140 degrees. ;)

As o the stains, I use oxyclean or bleach. If you can get soap on it quick, it will also help. I get a myriad of stains on my white chef coats. Some of them Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses. Those haven't come out :(

Try Tide to Go or Shout Wipes! I've had great luck with both.

Thanks for the tip, Ill probably give these a shot and carry one in the car and one in my messenger work bag for when im on the go.

This works great for me: http://www.powerofresolve.com/products/laundry-products/all-stains-laundry-stain-remover/. Removes virtually all stains from my shirts, except Pelikan Royal Blue ink. Mostly grease stains on my shirts, though I've had my share of coffee stains.

oxyclean and the resolve sound like a good alternative for trying to get stains out at home, thanks for the tips guys.

I've got a nasty stain on one of my khakis of from j herbin rouge hematite. I've given up on trying to get that one out lolz.

Club soda as quickly as possible. Stewardesses (excuse me, Flight Attendants) have been using it for years.

For set stains spray a 50/50 blend of Dawn and Peroxide before you wash it.

I have a similar affliction......

I like to wear coffee colored shirts so that its not really a problem. :001_tongu But when it does happen I try to wash the shirt ASAP, with Tide and bleach/bleach alternative. It works sometimes, depends on the the fabric.
