This past Saturday a tragic event occured at the annual "Big Valley Jamboree" country music festival held in Camrose, AB, Canada with headliner Tim Mcgraw.
A sudden thunderstorm moved into the area packed with high winds so extreme it toppled the main stage suddenly onto the crowd. The wind came up so fast the area could not be cleared in time. Apparently, organizers were just about to announce the concert was to be cancelled due to the sudden storm moving into the area and was in the process of advising everyone to move to safety. Sadly, the announcement was not made in time & 1 person was killed & 15 were injured.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time people have tragically died at concerts before but it is rare that it happens at the hands of Mother Nature.
