Squeaky Super Adjustable

Hello gents. I have a Gillette super (black handled adjustable) that i use occasionally in my rotation. It shaves well but the TTO part on top, the doors, open unevenly and squeak as they open. Is there a way to fix this problem , like using oil in there?? Or does it need to actually be taken apart ?? It is a good razor performance wise, but the squeaking kinda bothers me....... I really want to fix it if possible. All advice is welcomed!!!!

I'd clean all the soap scum off first with a commercial product like 'Scrubbing Bubbles' or some other equivalent. Even plain old toothpaste applied with an old toothbrush will work.

Then I'd oil it with Mineral Oil or Olive Oil or any other light oil and see if it works better. Any oil you apply can be washed off so don't worry too much about what you use and the internal mechanism of that razor can use some lube now and then anyway.

The door opening mechanism has some slop and uneven opening doors is not unusual. They should be even when they are closed, however, and if they are not, I would suspect some bent linkage.
