Can anyone identify these spots on this stone, and should I be concerned about them?

Only one way to find out really, if they are toxic you will be able to see scratches leading to the edge. They may very well be nothing at all.

Can you feel or see the spots affecting your edge? If not I wouldn't be too worried.
But if they do affect your edge, all you can do is pray and start lapping past them in hope you won't find more of it.

Su is holes.

Su... small holes formed while gas is escaping during formation of rock..... some say they speed up stone, occasionally toxic.
