Speick?

So is it worth it? I've never paid it no mind to try it. How does it perform? And what does it smell like?

its got an interesting smell.

almost like a foreign old spice kinda rugged medicinal manliness.

i like it.

GREAT value- relatively low price and HUGE performance. Agree the smell a little medicinal, but unique because the valerian plant extract is used. It is never off putting and grows on you! VERY soothing to skin after the shave.
This is absolutely a top product.
Cheers!

It's a great performer. The scent is a clean herbal lavender, and it doesn't last beyond an hour or so. It's easy to love this one, and hard to dislike it!

Great scent! I get some of the lavender but also a bit of spiceness. I'm on my 2nd or 3rd bottle and have another one waiting when this one is done.

The splash is one of the best performing aftershaves at any price.

Short answer: YES!

This goes for pretty much all their products I've tried so far: shaving cream & stick, bar soap, splash, balm and the "Intensiv Creme". Very popular stuff and highly reviewed in the German forums.

1/2 through my second bottle. Really nice AS I like as well as Tabac but they are quite different. Both do wonders for the face after a shave. I sometimes follow up Speick with Alt Innsbruck.

I find the scent largely ignorable -- it's nice, it's super short-lived. It's a great splash, performance-wise. One of the best I've tried. Maybe the best I've tried.

I think this is a fantastic AS at any price, and sometimes use it as a toner for the hell of it.

As for the scent, call me crazy, but it reminds me a lot of Davidoff Cool Water. It's been a long time (maybe 20+ years) since I had a look at CW, so perhaps that's changed, but the Speick reminds me of how I remember the CW to be back then.
