I have never really had an allergy to a shave soap before, but I think that Speick has tested my limits at putting up with irritability. Itchy and blotchy red spots. I love the scent, but it seems this will be my last stick of Speick.

I don't like the sound of that, but it might be an idea to test a patch on the inside of your arm to see if you have an allergic reaction there as well. It would be a shame if you do turn out to be allergic to Speick, but it is possible.
Do you normally face lather? If you do not regularly face lather, then try bowl lathering.

meh!! I am not going to buy a stick and bowl lather. Kind of defeats the point.
I feel your pain. You should be able to find a good home for it. I just started using Speick and love it so far.
I milled my speick and get good shaves bowl lathering. I got mediocre shaves face lathering and would overwork my face.
If it smelled more to my liking, I would buy it again.
