Speick Cologne.....it burns my lungs! YOU TAKE IT

Been trying Speick cologne the past week as I love the deo and AS splash. I really do not enjoy the scent at all, very disappointed. The only way I could describe it is Speick took everything I loved out of the AS splash and replaced it with an intense sweet citrus which feels overwhelming and harsh. I was not certain at first but now I am sure the irritation in my throat/nose/sinus and cough are actually from the product (the discomfort stopped after I discontinued use). This is something I have never experienced.

If any of you like the cologne or want to give it a try post in the thread, first reply gets it. All I ask is you live in the United States. Ground shipping only! I can ship it out this coming Wednesday afternoon when I return to the house. I will send the poster a message for shipping information. I only check the forum twice a day so be patient please. The bottle is still nearly full so this is beyond a great deal!

Peeeeyuuuuuu!!! I had the same experience with Polo Black. Cough, choke. I was a Xmas gift so no loss there.

We had a situation long ago where one guy(teen) temp came into our office doused in Hugo by Hugo Boss. Gaghhhhh! One whiff and we felt like Clemenza had the garrote around our necks. He was told that same day to tone it down or he'd be transferred to an outdoors position.

Funny thing,

The first post office refused to ship the edc because they didnt know the flashpoint. The clerk was not happy when I offered to get a lighter and test it!

I drove a few miles to a very small town and the clerk took it no questions asked. She only wanted to know why I was mailing things to a "yankee". Lol, rednecks

I bought some recently from WCS, as they still had the old bottle photo on their site. But when I got it, it was the new EdC.

It's not that bad if you can get through the initial application. But it's just not as good as the older EdC.

I just wanted to update you all that kooze received the edc today. Upon 1st spray he had a small asthma attack, no joke!

Well, I first want to say thanks to Freddy for this PIF. Like he said, this stuff burned my lungs, and I actually had difficulty breathing. And he was right- this smells nothing like any Speick product- its much more pungent, harsh and offensive

I guess I'm a gutten for punishment. I will be creating a new PIF thread, and request that the "winner" post in this thread once he inevitably decides to PIF as well.

I have been told the new EDT smells more like the shaving stick/ASL, whereas the EdC smells like it is more for women, even though it is "unisex" on the labelling.
