Well, I made it through another year without getting arrested, hospitalized, or attacked by a grizzly bear...Life is Good! :laugh:

For my 68th birthday shave (Good grief...am I that old already???), I used the following items. This is my usual daily routine...I didn't do anything particularly different.

- Vintage Ever-Ready 200 Green & Black shaving brush, reknotted with a TGN Finest Badger.
- Mike's Natural Soap "Lavandin & Eucalyptus"
- Gillette Red-Tip Super Speed Razor
- Feather Blade (with 4 shaves on it)
- Swiss Pitralon After Shave Splash

Two passes with the razor resulted in a DFS (Damned Fine Shave). A couple of stray whiskers if I rub real hard, but nothing that anyone would notice.

Today's going to be quiet...have a few chores to take care of. The real celebrations will happen this weekend!

Birthday shave this morning:

Vintage Old Spice using an Ever-Ready 200T (first brush I restored) with a Grade A Silvertip knot and a Dubl Duck Goldedge. I finished the morning with Clubman Classic Vanilla AS.
