I was using my New LC and getting all kinds of weepers and irritation with it. Now I've switched to my '41 Ranger and weepers are not happening and neither is irritation. Plus, I'm getting a very close shave. Life is good once again.

Razor: SNMIRN adjustable (Baby Futura)

Blade: Big Ben [first use]

Brush: Frank's Synthetic

Lather: Proraso Refresh

Aftershave: Wild Country

After investigating the new blade, I must not have had it fully installed, so in the first swipe it fell apart, leaving a nasty gash on my cheek. So that was my own damn fault.

I also gave myself a nick which I'm not taking the blame for.

Two passes and it was a good shave.

I still have about 20 or so Voshkod blades, but I won't be buying any Russian blades until Russia withdraws from the Ukraine, so I've been sampling other blades.

FFFMM with a 16mm master badger and an AC blade makes this shave pretty wild. The golden Krona was quite nice, I was a little worried as the blade is on 21st or 27th shave but after the first stroke I realized why I have yet to toss it, still silky smooth, fairing better then the feather AC with 10 shaves on it. the 20mm slivertip knot with over 1000 lathers felt pretty massive and weirdly sponge-like after coming from almost a month of short lofted 16mm master badger and ~25 lathers
