Souplex Vs Paragon

Hi all just wanted to pick your brains. You see I have just bought a Paragon DE Like the one in the picture, but whilst searching I found a Souplex (also in pics below).

Does anyone have any info on the Paragon as it seems to be identical to the Souplex.

Paragon is the last pic.

Waits Safety Razor Compendium says the manufacturer is unidentified but I wouldn't be surprised, being that both the Souplex and the Paragon are both made in England, that Souplex made the Paragon. Kind of like how Merkur made their slant razors for Coles, Hoffritz and Pomco.

It could also be a Souplex clone but seriously.. why would you want to clone a Souplex?

Well from what I have read, Paragon were made in Sheffield, Souplex in morecambe. There must have been some licence agreement between them not sure who made it first though.

As for the razor I haven't recieved it yet but looks very nicely finished and the reviews I've read say its a great shaver.
