I decided to try the new Stirling Blu sample puck that Rod added to my last order. It lathered easily and the scent was pleasant. I stayed with Jaws and the Super-Max SS combination. The Super-Max SS was not quite as smooth today, but I got a good close shave with no nicks and very little burn. I finished with some Floid Blue. Always a good way to finish!

SOTD:

A very classic shave today. I used my John Engstrøm Jr. straight which was the first razor I started with. It still has the edge Larry at Whippeddog put on it and it's still shave worthy for sure. Of course it's not as sharp as the Feather, but just as smooth. The Simpson Special is a fine little brush and lathered the vintage Old Spice soap up a treat. Ended the shave with some of the old formula Proraso AS and some Bulldog ASB.
