RazoRock Lupo Club - The Pack

Hello friends

The temperature has dropped a bit here. Perfect day for MdC Vetiver. I took advantage of this week's SOTD theme and picked up my first boar brush that I bought over thirty years ago and for a long time was my daily driver, this graceful Crabtree & Evelyn. The Lupo 95SB is becoming one of my favorite razors and today with the BIC CP (2) it was impeccable. I finished with the delicious AS Malizia Uomo.

With us, the incredible Hampton Hawes.

Rating: 10

Have a nice day and great shaves!

DE SOTD, Wednesday, December 4th 2024

Razor : Yaqi Sentinel 1.5 mm 316 SSP with a Yaqi tear drop handle 316 SSP. Mfg 2022>, mild to tame mid range. Excellent machining and finish for my shave needs. This is a excellent daily driver for myself, I usually do not get any irritation.
Blade : Gillette Nacet(2) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Razorock The dead Sea, very addictive scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Atlantis" 24mm G4 synthetic knot. Very nice brush with a nice handle feel with some back bone knot.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock The Dead Sea with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : Dial 9.5.jpg or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=:a17: Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Sentinel 1.5mm with a Nacet blade.

Razor: Schick “Easy Rider” Injector (type L6, 1971-1972)

Bowl: Dirty Bird “Bill” Bowl
Soap: Barbasol Sensitive
Additional Care: T.N. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel

Love the consistency of Barbasol and the mild Easy Rider Injector by Schick. Love the soft Simpson synthetic brush. I am recovering from illness today so this shave was a nice respite from life. Aces!

SOTD - Wednesday December 4th, 2024

Hot shower?: yes

Razor : razorock adjust DE safety.

Blade: bic yellow (4th shave)

Brush: razorock plisoft synthetic fibre keyhole handle

Pre shave oil/lotion/cream: prorasso white (w/ oatmeal and tea tree oil) pre shave cream

Soap/cream: C&R Naturals African Black Soap bar. (Testing for lather)

Aftershave/tonic/lotion/balm: same as the soap.

Awesome. The soap lathers extremely well! It also works as an antiseptic aftershave. (Just rinse after) as there’s a bit of stinging. The soap is good for face body and hair. Only one or two bleeders. (Minor) so I may be able to get one last shave out of this blade.

no vintage stuff here. But the closest thing “could be” is the soap. Made in Ghana by African tradeswoman. So it is probably a real old tradition. Who knows.

Bowl: Captain's Choice
Brush: Zenith 506
Lather: Mason Boutique "Moroccan Sunset"
Razor: Schick "Injector" Type E / AD Works brass handle
Blade: Personna
Witch hazel: Thayers "Lavender"
Alum block: Osma
After shave: Brut "Classic"
Hydrating cream: Glamfox "Black Snail"
