Shaving recipe for today.

( winter solstice shave)

Prep: Hot shower: Yardley of London ~English Lavender Soap Body Wash & Vosene Shampoo .

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.


Wilkinsons Fruits ~ Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Omega S 10065.

Bowl Lather.

Cream: Groomed ~ Shave Cream.

Blade: Derby Extra. (2)

Razor: Parker 48R.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Alum Block./Gillette A/S Balm.


Old Spice ~ Classic A/S .



Greetings,
My second use of the Derby Extra,paired up with my Parker 48R was
a smooth efficient duo, with no tugging issues from the derby extra blade,resulting in another comfortable 3 pass + pick ups DFS with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave of with a very generous splash of Old Spice ~ Classic aftershave.

Only four more days before the big fella in the red suit and the white suit pays us a visit.

What an outstanding shave.. Noble Otter: The Trail and the New Forest Tubby 1 Finest produced a phenomenal lather, so enjoyable in fact, that I made extra passes just for giggles. If you want a nomination for 'Best Newcomer, 2017', then Noble Otter has to be in the running....

Great solstice shave back in Oaxaca. Skipped a day shaving and the Schöne was near BBS after two passes. A little touch up and I was ready to go. The OC takes a light touch but rewards with excellent results. Bargain of the year for me.​
