I'd only recently heard of the razor, so I set out to get one---just for the uniqueness. However, the shave was so impressive, I anticipate I'll be using the Radio quite a bit. As I had stated, the blade sitting back the way it does yielded a very smooth shave. In fact, I had to stop after a couple strokes to make sure the blade was seated correctly. Then I realized how those strokes had obliterated 48 hr stubble. It was really deceptive, but in a very good way. It's still quite audible like other 1912s (British or USA). It's a shame these are rare. I'd like to see more people have the opportunity to use them.

I appreciate your review of the razor. I like the 1912 versions I have, so probably wouldn't have grabbed a Radio if I had run across one...until reading your post.

I like it a lot, it lathers well and easily. It has a light floral scent, with a hint of patchouli. Not overpowering to me it is just enough. I need to get the accompanying aftershave.
