Clearing up the backlog
I have new Autostrop blades I want to try, but first I need to clear up my ongoing backlog of blades that have been started. My last two shaves with this particular razor (VC1) have been very close and agressive Using a vintage Valet (4) and this Feather FAS-10 (6).
I believe that this is because this razor is the tightest and closest to original factory tolerances of all my Autostrops.
I’m binning this Feather, but have another already started with one shave on it. Next I’ll shave back to back using the Feather and Valet blades with my VC4 with the solid safety bar for comparison.
I absolutely adore my post shave scent after applying TOBS sandalwood AS splash and Luxury Gel. Makes me feel refined in an upper crust Victorian manner.

Monday 11/22 shave- simply delightful and with some favorite items that were first added to my shave den in the last year; it's my spin on this week's theme:

Razor: Occam's AC Razor- an easy close shaver
Blade: Feather AC Pro (1) - sharp and smooth, as usual
Soap: Canada Shave Soap- unscented, a great addition to my den thanks to @ouchyfoot
Brush: Simpson Duke 2 in Best- one of a few brushes purchased during last year's holiday season; this one was $38 + tax
Post-shave: cool rinse, then RazoRock Tuscan Oud AS splash, smells wonderful, feels good

Have a great Thanksgiving week!

Torrey Tue 23 SR SOTD
Soap Ariana & Evans London
Brush Yaqi 26mm Lucky Dice 2 Band Badger
Razor J.R. Torrey 5/8
Aftershaves Stirling Witchhazel MitA + Ariana&Evans Kaizen Splash with 3 Frost Drops
The more I use this soap...the stronger is the scent...which I like very much. The lather quality is terrific...richly creamy and very slick...!!
Missed my little Torrey...and today it gives me an outstanding shave! Being a workday...had limited time for SR but this razor is so nimble & the edge is so good (jnat)...3passes for a dfs/ccs result. The aftershaves were awesome too.
