Results: The G&F did not disappoint. Her edge was still sharp and smooth after being ignored for a while....Just a few laps around the strops and she was as good as new. The La Toja soap was simply amazing!!! Every moment of the prep was a delightfully enjoyable experience. Today, I paid special attention and made sure I used literally zero pressure and short strokes during the entire shave...The result was very rewarding and smooth experience

Thanks, Robert, and yes, I sure am. This morning I experimented, and cut out my second, XTG pass. The straight shaves closer WTG making a second pass ATG quite easy. No irritation, BBS, and 10 mins less. Love it!! Now where do I find my next one?!!!

Thank you again, young man. WoolFern is simply a mixture of Penhaligon's English Fern Soap and MWF- the performance is certainly better than EF alone and the scent is still great.

That is a clever name David . You should trademark it. I really like it. It does have a "ring" to it.

No picture or straight razor today. Not a very enjoyable shave either but I was quite hungover so at least so I'm just happy I didn't cut the face off myself. 2 pass mediocrity for this shave.

Comments: |I didn't think about a DE shave today, but finally I've chosen the Mühle R101, lighter than the R41, better to use a razor as this because the weight it's not an advantage for such as agressive head. Because the agresiveness and the aspect of the comb, that seems the teeth of a shark, I called it "Shark's Mouth". More "romantic" than call it R101. Supermentholated shave because of the Omega soap and the Osage Rub, the fresher shave in Spain
