Got this great Dovo from John (johnmrson), he got a bunch of NOS blades a while back and put this great 13/16 in some nice scales for me at a great price. It took an exceptional edge, one of my best shaves to date!

Your hands and arms must have been aching after that honing, Blix!! But the end justifies the means, eh? Nice one!:thumbup1:

Great SOTD. How do you like the Flaschner? I wish mine were a spike, but otherwise, it's a wonderful blade!

Thanks, Bill. The Flaschner is a wonderful looking blade but it is nowhere near as sharp as I want it to be. I mistakenly took it as shave ready and the first shave left stubble even after 3 passes. Took it to the hones over the weekend, it's improved, but still someway off. This morning's shave still left some stubble. This weekend, it'll be back to the hones. I may have to send it to Neil if that fails....my honing skills are still at novice level unfortunately.

A great shave today before heading out for my physiotherapy appointment.

I can tell, that after just one use, the Semougue has a real chance of becoming my favourite brush.

Nothing serious I hope, Keith. Lovely shot. :thumbup1: How are you finding the TOBS?
