Hi B&Bers!
This week and for the next few weeks we are going to show our support and thank our amazing B&B Supporting Vendors (who are instrumental in helping keep the lights on around here), and provide you the opportunity to show off the excellent gear that you have accumulated!
This Week’s SOTD Theme Week is all about Merz Apothecary! The Merz team offers a HUGE selection of the best that wetshaving has to offer. In fact, I am not going to even bother to try listing a selection of their vendors. If it has anything to do with men’s grooming and/or wetshaving, @QBrothers likely sells it!
Merz was founded in 1875 as a small drugstore in Chicago and their internet business Smallflower.com (many people had issues spelling Apothecary!) was launched in 1998. They were an Amazon vendor before most of us had even heard of the big river company (simce 2004). Q Brothers/Shops of Metz was opened in 2014 next to their Lincoln Square store in Chicago due to their explosive growth.
Let’s see your Merz/Smallflower/Q Brothers purchased items if you have them. If you don’t have anything from them, go to their website @ https://www.merzapothecary.com or their B&Bstore @ https://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/forums/q-brothers-merz-apothecary-smallflower.224/ to show some love for this outstanding B&B supporting vendor. Next time I am in Chicago, I will be visiting as I can’t resist after reading their description… “The minute you walk in, you are stepping into a beautiful old world Apothecary that carries only the finest of products.”
If you don’t have anything from this fine B&B supporting vendor, please still post pics of your usual SOTD or just tell us all about it.
As always, being creative and having fun IS mandatory but sticking with the theme is NOT mandatory but very strongly encouraged.
Let’s see some love for Merz!
