Hi B&Bers!

This week and for the next few months we are going to show our support and thank our amazing B&B Supporting Vendors (who are instrumental in helping keep the lights on around here), and provide you the opportunity to show off the excellent gear that you have accumulated!

This Week’s SOTD Theme Week is all about Elite Razor! Bob Quinn @Eskimo and team make excellent razor handles, pens and brushes as well as some of the best badger knots available. Where else can you get a meticulously crafted shaving brush with a real stone handle at a great price? And Bob is a very active B&Ber and quick to respond to questions as well as offering fantastic customer service.

Let’s see your Elite products if you have them. If you don’t have anything from them, go to their website @ https://eliterazor.com or their B&Bstore @ https://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/forums/elite-razor.194/ and show your some love for this outstanding B&B supporting vendor. You can also find them on Instagram @ EliteRazorShaving.

If you don’t have anything from Elite, please still post pics of your usual SOTD or just tell us all about it.

As always, being creative and having fun IS mandatory but sticking with the theme is NOT mandatory but very strongly encouraged.

Let’s see some Elite love!

Prep: Valobra Glycerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: DR Harris H3 Best Badger
Soap: Bartigan & Stark Timberyard
Razor: Wolfman WR1
Blade: Vintage NOS Personna P74 (10)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Crown Shaving Co Aftershave Tonic
Scent: D.R. Harris Windsor EdT

A new Artisan soap from Canada, and an absolute cracker. Lovely fresh northern hemisphere forest scent, and simply outstanding performance and post-shave.
The P74 is still as sharp as ever on its 10th outing (no surprises there).
The Crowne Co aftershave tonic is impressive - alcohol, witch hazel, glycerin and neem oil for the mug, and a unique yet old school scent. Very nicely done.

Razor Yaqi Slant
Blade Persona X Series 11th use
Aftershaves Stirling Witchhazel Bergamot Lavender + Stirling Executive Man Splash
Excellent soap qualities. A very nice scent and rich creamy slick lather...super!
The shave with 1 of my most aggressive & rarely used razors turns out to be quite tamed and enjoyable all due to the great blade plus a shim. 3 fast, easy, smooth, and relatively comfortable passes for a dfs+ finish without any issues. The matching aftershave was just great!

Third and last shave with the Henson AL 13 with an RK blade. The blade just doesn’t last as long as my other blades. Nevertheless, I did get another shave. By the final pass, this blade was ready to be tossed. This is the 66th shave with the Ethos unscented soap. A nice, easy BBS early morning shave. Have a good one, folks.
