Comments	Another beautiful day in Arizona. This is the 74th shave with the Ethos Lavender. Today’s brush is the Omega Hi Synthetic. This is one synthetic that has some backbone. I am using my ATT S-1 with a Personna Med Prep blade for the 5th day in a row. My usual four-pass shave resulted in a BBS shave. Today the aftershave was Thayers followed by Every Man Jack Face Lotion. Have a great day, folks.

DE SOTD, Sat, April 16th 2022

Razor : Yaqi V2 tile razor 316SS- excellent mild razor, I use a extra wide Kai SS to bump it up a notch in aggression, I get usually get excellent results with a Kai blade.
Blade : Kai SS(9) extra wide blade by 9/1000 or 4.5/1000"per side, sharp & smooth with excellent longevity. Top tier for me IMO.
Soap :Ach Brito Lavanda, excellent cream, nice mild scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Robin 24mm boar brush, excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristles, excellent scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel+ a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers=excellent shave with my Yaqi tile razor with a extra wide Kai SS blade.

In my experience with Artisanal shaving lines, it is rare that an aftershave lotion scent improves upon that of the matching soap scent.
But such is the case with A&E's Grecian Horse. The soap scent is really nice, but the aftershave scent is terrific. They most certainly are the same basic scent, but the aftershave scent is just that little bit better. I really like how they have added just enough freshness to the blend to balance the deep rich tones of amber, vanilla and sandalwood. Well done, A&E.
The Tabacco Vanille EdP was a good match for the above.

Saturday SOTD- two passes for a nice DFS result, 9/10, no mishaps; a fine Fine shave:

Razor: RR Lupo AL- what a nice mild razor
Blade: Perma-Sharp (2)- sharp and smooth in the Lupo
Soap: Fine L'Orange Noir- this is my only remaining puck of the now discontinued old, hard Fine soaps, which were pretty good
Brush: Yaqi 22mm badger
Post: cold rinse, then some Fine L'Orange Noir AS splash, what a good finish
