The soap in combination with the brush produces a super nice creamy and slick lather with a unique light scent but XXX was better...
Put this wedge through a 2nd full diamond balsa progression then strop on the Kangaroo leather and yup...the shave was much better. The edge was smoother and keener in 3 passes for a bbs-ccs finish...

A near 'Nivea Men' shave. The 'Originals' cream is superb, only a small almond size amount was needed to create a wonderful slick lather for my shave.

The 1950's Gillette Ball End Tech is such smooth comfortable shaver pairing together with the Super-Max Blue Diamond Titanium wonderfully, making a superb razor & blade combo. The Super-Max Blue Diamond Titanium are such a smooth efficient blade.

An enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Aloe Vera Body Lotion.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Comments	In keeping with the theme there is an autographed baseball signed by Alex Rios. I won the baseball when Rios played for the White Sox and this was during spring training in Arizona. On the shave, another great lather with MdC. This time I used my SOC boar brush and it did a fine job. This is the 3rd use of the soap and 5th of the razor-blade combo. I will be changing razors and blades on Wednesday. A perfect shave. Have a good one, folks.

Today's shave was using a new to me Yaqi Sentinel. This is supposed to be a similar copy of the Wolfman WR2 by spec, but I think its not even close. Its advertised as having a 1.55mm gap and 0.05mm exposure, and I'm quite sure that's not the case (shocker, I know). It was an ok shave, I got a decent shave from it, but afterwards on the alum scrub down there was zero irritation, and it was a pretty much mindless shave because I found no way to hack myself despite the advertised gap/exposure. I have heard of people turning the plate over to achieve a more aggressive stance - but I'm not seeing it. Anyhow, unless I learn otherwise this one's going to sit in the drawer or go to someone else - decent razor, but just way way too mild for me.
