I stopped Straight shaving to sport a beard for a while and also because I felt my straights were not shave ready. I finally watched some YouTube videos and honed a couple of my blades I thought I could practice on. After a couple tries I was able to get them shave ready. This is my SOTD after a lapse of I would say 7-8 years atleast is not more.

Nautica Blue
Nice brush with reasonable backbone and light prickly feeling. It evokes the famous Finest Grade from Rooney. The resemblance stops there because the density is not comparable.
SR: Aylsworth Drakkant -
I used the OC Plate with 0.99 Blade Gap for the three classic passes and afterwards the Original SB Plate with 0.78 Blade Gap and Neutral Exposure for the pick-ups on Neck.
It's a very well machined SR by YPM from a design by Aylsworth.
Very Good Tool and beautiful to look at.
