Hello again my B&B Friends!

This week’s SOTD Theme is “Size Matters”.

For this week, let’s see the abnormally large and strangely small shaving items that you own!

Small: We want to see your small soap samples or shaving sticks, travel razors, tiny aftershave and fragrance bottles and wee little brushes. If you use a thimble as a shaving bowl, we need to see it!

Large: Alternatively, do you own a 40mm brush that could hold enough later to shave a yeti or do you shave daily with a kilo slab of Cella? Is your razor handle reminiscent of a broom handle or do you buy your aftershave or cologne by the litre or gallon? Show us!

Nothing themed? Please still post a pic of your usual shaving setups and/or tell us all about it.

As always, the weekly themes are just a suggestion. We encourage you to post or shoot photos of your Shave Gear of the Day regardless of the theme as sticking with the theme is NOT mandatory but encouraged.

Let’s see lots of small and large shaving gear pics this week!

Razor: Fatip Piccolo Razor
Blade: BIC Chrome Platinum (4th use)
Brush: Zenith
Cream: Derby Menthol
Alum: Nice Cool
Aftershave: Malizia Uomo Vetyver

Went for a walk today to the local neighbourhood hairdressing supply store and picked up a Zenith bleached boar. Nice and soft, very comfortable, maybe took a little longer to build the lather compared to my unbleached Omegas, but I enjoyed it. Alright shave overall, but blade felt like it was slowing down with a few tiny weepers.

This was the fourth shave with my Razor Rock GC -68p razor and PolSilver Super Iridium Blade. This was another close and smooth shave. I think there are quite a few more shaves with this combo. Today’s brush is the AP Shaving Tuxedo Synthetic. It took me a while to get used to shaving with a brush containing black bristles! The brush did a nice job loading the soap and creating a lather. Plus, it felt soft on my face and head. The TFS soap was on its 30th use. The shave was a perfect BBS. Have a great day, folks.

February 10, 2025 Monday shave

Razor: Razorock Game Changer .76P
Blade: Suneko (4)
Cream: Cremo Reserve Blend
Brush: TRC Deep Blue w/24mm G5C
Bowl: Captain's Choice copper
Aftershave: Fine Snake Bite

It was another great shave with the RR .76P and Suneko blade. Today's departure from the norm is the Cremo. Last time I used a cream was two years ago! I learned that it takes more cream to get an adequate amount of lather than the soaps I normally use. Fabulous shave,
