Brush: Omega 10005 Boar
Soap: La Toja Stick (Face Lather)
Razor/Blade: Parker 71R/Gillette Platinum (S #1)
Post Clinique ASB

A BBS shave, one of my best ever. Working on my left hand/right side of face combination and it is working well so far. And I love La Toja. The lather is every bit as nice as Tabac and I prefer the scent, for some reason it dries out my skin a bit more than Tabac.

Ah, stellar BBS shave tonight, this blade is still cutting rather nicely, no irritation at all........
I will get more shaves from it if I decide to.... I set the razor on the moderate setting of 5. That works fine at this stage of the blade's life. Later on I will turn up the heat a little bit by setting the razor on a higher number. To get the most out of a blade like this, as the blade dulls, it needs to be used at a higher setting on an adjustable. The smoothness is gone by then but with a Perma Sharp, the sharpness will still mostly be there.... these things are that good.... However, prep and TECHNIQUE will need to be carefully followed closely, as the last shaves by then can be great or turn a little bloody if one is careless with things.....

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Bath Soap
Soap: Synergy-Cavendish
Razor: ’66 Gillette Slim “6”
Blade: Perma-Sharp Super (3)
Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip 22mmx48mm
Aftershave: Clubman

I tried the Synergy Cavendish today. The high praise is well deserved. It lathers like a champ in hard water with no effort. The Cavendish scent is great! The lather gave me a very good smooth, close, and nick free shave. The Slim and the Perma-Sharp did their part too! I finished with Clubman.
