SV Saturday
Semogue Saturdays!

Hello friends

It's a cloudy Saturday here. Perfect for SV Manna di Sicilia and Semogue Pegasus Mistura to start the weekend off right. And to go all out, Rex Ambassador (@5/4/3) and GSB (2), a great duo. I finished with the splendid Floïd The Genuine.

With us, Dinah Shore and André Previn on an album that is a rare gem.

Rating: 10

Have a nice weekend and great shaves!

Preshave: PAA the Mentholated Cube water from the Flairisol mister and face lathered with the RV Shaving 25 mm STF in Strawberry Amber
Brush: Shavemac 24 /54 mm two band silvertip DO1 in Copper Canyon
Face lathered with use of Flairisol mister also
Soap: Czech and Speake Oxford and Cambridge by Valobra
Razor: No 15 British OC Aristocrat First Gen
Blade: Willy's (1)
Post: PAA Alum, Thayer's Lavender Witch Hazel Toner
Splash and frag: Czech and Speake Oxford and Cambridge

A few red spots takes an other wise perfect 2 pass shave down to 9.5 DFS++ over all. Smooth on the face a little stubbly ATG on my neck.

I tried something different today after smearing the Mentholated cube rather unsuccessfully I grabbed my 25 MM STF and loaded direct from the cube and face lathered with that before each pass. Not that Valobra soap needs help, I just wasn't as thorough on my prep not showering before hand. I am unsure if I will do this again, but, I might follow in @Phoenixkh example and melt it down into some container to easily lather from. At least when not showering.

The Willy's blade is a keeper, and, a good match in my Aristocrat. This is my only one left after donating my No 66 to the St Sue auction a few years ago. Of the two I much prefer the No 15.

The Morning Shave.
The Feather Hi-Stainless blade was in my 1964 Gillette Slim Adjustable today.

After missing my shave yesterday, it was another opportunity to use the Feather Hi-Stainless.
I thought I would be a little indulgent today, with the Vulfix Pure Badger and the Proraso Wood & Spice.
Absolutely love the Wood & Spice scent. Quite strong but a great scent.

Not sure if this has been completely discontinued now or if some stock is still available. I use no more than 1gram of shave cream so these last me a few years.

The Feather performs amazing with a couple of days growth, so smooth and comfortable.

Can anyone identify the watch?

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Face Lather.
Lather: Wilkinson Sword Soap Bowl.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Yellow/Red pack. (D2)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Premium TTO.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Nivea Men 2 Phase + P&G Old Spice Original ASL Mixture. /Cien Men Aloe Vera Body Lotion.

Greetings,

Relaxing Sunday Morning Shave.

The Wilkinson Sword TTO is completely different to the Wilkinson Sword Classic plastic two piece. Aggression wise I personally find it very similar as my Chinese Gillette super speed clones. My only gripe with it is the longer than needed handle, apart from that it's a good shaver.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Men Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.;)

Keep safe and enjoy your Sunday ladies & gentlemen.

Nice enough soap and splash but the brush is the star...so soft and supple!
I had an enjoyable shave with this excellent razor...the edge refreshed on the 0.1um diamond balsa...
