today I used a feather blade for the first time. i can't say i was super impressed. i will have to use it more to figure out how I like it.

This shave was much better than the first but could not acheive a closs shave. Upon further inspection and even changing out the blade I noticed where the handle and the head of the razor meet there is a crack and is slightly loose...not sure if this is the reason. Maybe some different blades are the answer.
