Jerry,

As usual, a gorgeous picture. I always look forward to your SOTD posts!

Thanks Mitch. Time usually dictates how I set up my shot. The ones shot on black are usually my favorites as well.

Aaah, Friday:

A complete NB shower experience - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash. I am starting to like the face wash...

Gillette 1940s SS
Swede day 2
Simpson Chubby#2 Super
Taylor St. James cream
Feather Kanwa ASB
Nancy Boy Butch EdT

Tried Ron's "Four Pass" system today and nicked the crap out of myself. I guess my skin was not taut enough... I am quite smooth though - good shave otherwise. The Butch cologne is... interesting... I think I like it the longer it is on but those top notes are weird. -- Dennis

If your a beginner go VERY !!!! Easy with the Ron 4 pass system. Ron very wisely writes in it the manual its not a BEGINNERS ! method. Im getting great shaves now doing the 4 passes but my technique grew significantly and those Feather blades really help doing the 4 passes had 3 shaves now with the feather blades in a row.not a single nick 4 months DE shaving now..

Thanks Rene - not exactly a beginner... My shave is usually 2 N-S passes, and AGT and then checking what got missed with fantastic results. I tried the chevron cuts which I have not really done before not to mention the fact I had a excellent shave yesterday and my stubble was pretty light and short which probably compounded the problem. -- Dennis

-shower started using an ordinary hard soap . then I must have forgotten the SHAMPOO was looking too much forward to my shave that I FORGOT the shampoo I didnt even know till im writing the SOTD.

- Fatboy/Feather 4rth use
- Wilkinson Shave soap
-Muhle boar bristle

-Technique pour Homme moisturiser balm by Chanel. (good stuff 1st use)
-Adidas pulse dynamic a/s
-Alum Block.(used on the neck. )
- Azzaro Chrome sample

3 passes Fatboy on 9. 1 full pass with just PSO (setting 6) all over the face doing across the grain pass. I went quite fast with the hole shave. end results 4 tiny nicks.
in the end 2 nicks showed /kept on the face like a crust thing when your hurt on your skin.
