Razor : Micromatic OC- Mfg 1939-41, mid to upper mid range, built to last and with good technique a person can receive some nice close shaves. I also used a RIGS spline shim for addition testing.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(7) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely, predictable + safest razor blade to handle IMO.
Soap : Razorock XXX - nice unique clean scent + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Razorock Plissoft 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, great splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Used this brush a lot when I started traditional wet shaving.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 chin weeper= excellent shave with Gem MMOC with a Gem coated blade.

Tabac October and Open Comb October continue. As far as Big Knots Week goes I don't have any brushes with (ridiculously) large knots so I went with my Van Der Hagen Pure Badger brush. My razor and soap games are good but there's a lot of room for improvement with my brush game.

I chose my Blackland Era as it's been a while since I've used it and wanted to show it some love. I did a three-pass shave with a Nacet of an unknown number of uses. I did a lot of against the grain buffing but was all good because I got the bbs I was looking for.

The tallow Tabac was great as always. I finished up with the usuals and threw on some Tabac aftershave. I know not everyone likes the smell of Tabac but boy do I find it intoxicating.

The good ol' Vitos Red did a great job, but I have to admit that Phoenix's CK-6 soaps walk all over it (which of course they should do when you consider the price difference).
