Ever wonder how many shaves in each tub or tube of Proraso? See below in the Lather report!
Over the next four days I'll be trying blades I've never used before.
First shave with a Bolzano Blade. It's another winner!

As expected Red dominated the month of October as it was on all but four days.
Pre shave: warm water and glycerin soap
Lather bowl: Fine Accoutrements
Shave cream: OneBlade Small batch Lavender. Built up a very nice lather

Post shave: plain which hazel (but i augmented with tea tree oil)
Post shave balm: OneBlade After Shave Balm
Decent shave. Neck a bit irritated - as has been the case last couple of shaves. This time to overly annoying. Will see how it goes with a fresh blade.
Woke up to a relatively overcast morning on this final day of OC October. The 16 oz 316L SS Rearden Razor Tuxedo Synth built the two kinds of MWF lathers I like for my shaves. I shaved this morning with the razor that launched me into straight shaving, my Dovo Special 5/8. The razor has a fine edge that I’ve maintained on my Naniwa 12k. I gave it a few laps on the Swaty Barber’s hone this morning and had a very pleasant two and a half mug pass shave that left me quite smooth. The following two pass ATG dome shave with the Gillette New LC checked all the boxes and left me velveteen smooth from shoulders to noggin for a fitting capstone shave of the month.
RAZOR: Dovo Special 5/8 (Mug), Gillette New LC (Dome)
BLADE: Feather DE
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Rearden Razor 316L SS Tuxedo Synth
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm.

I decided to go all traditional with TOBS sandalwood today. This cream was my second purchase after Proraso Green when I first started my wet shaving journey. Paired up with a tuxedo synthetic the lathering was soft, creamy and luxurious. I didn’t want to stop.
…and yes, I dragged out that immortal vintage Personna again, for its tenth shave. No I’m not frugal! I always toss my blades after three shaves, but this blade is not to be trifled with. I was definitely going to toss it today after it completed ten, but I decided to keep it. It just gets better and better…and I’m using mild razors. My whiskers are not sparse or wispy. They start below my eyes, and a I have to delineate a line that separates my neck from my chest. This is just the most amazing blade I have ever used. I have some other vintage blades to try, but I won’t have a chance until this one is retired.
