Hi again, B&Bers!

First I wanted to thank @BradWorld for running with last week’s shave of the day while I was on vacation. Great job!

OK, this week’s SOTD Theme is all about Fruits and Vegetables! Since many of our favourite soaps and aftershaves incorporate fruit and veggie scents and ingredients, let’s see them.

We want to see the soaps, aftershaves and colognes in your den that smell like, look like or are coloured like fruits and vegetables. Is the main note of your cologne citrus? Perfect! Have an orange handled shaving brush? That works too! Is your favourite aftershave The Veg? You need serious help, but we’ll take it!

If you don’t have anything fruit or veggie related, post a pic of your regular or favourite shaving setups. Or post pics of your usual SOTD or just tell us all about it. Let’s see lots of great images again this week!

As always, being creative and having fun IS mandatory but sticking with the theme is NOT mandatory but very strongly encouraged.

What a fun shave with my weekend antique store find. This Clog Pruf shaved very nicely in my noob hand and provided some of the sweetest higher pitched feedback I have experienced. Great shave this morning!
Little bottle is 50/50 Duru Limon and Thayers WH. Yumm!

MMMonday, Aug 29th 2022- still testing spline shim with great results IMO. Might be used a lot more often in certain ASR razors!

Razor : Micromatic Clog Pruf(17nib SB Peerless model)-Mfg 1945, Excellent mid range, built to last, feels good in hand & made of solid brass + a joy to use.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE(8) very sharp, excellent longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice unique lightly mentholated fresh scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Cavern lake 24mm Tuxedo knot, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Gem Clog Pruf Peerless model with a coated Gem blade.
