It’s time for another Theme Week!


Put away your Wolfman Razors, Varlet brushes and MDC soaps and try to shave on the cheap for a week! It's time to show the B&B community your favourite Frugal Shave Setup!


Since April Frugal Follies Cheapskate Challenge (AFFCC) is… well, not until April, let’s do a week of your most inexpensive setups. Vintage items ARE allowed so let’s see those antique store and flea market Gillette Techs, Rubberset shaving brushes and vintage Williams and Old Spice pucks. Also your inexpensive modern shaving gear works as well.


Being creative and having fun IS mandatory as usual. Sticking with the theme is NOT mandatory. Feel free to post any SOTD photo or just tell us about your shave.

And yes, again Arko and Williams are allowed… and encouraged*! (*B&B management made me say that. )

Awesome cream/soap!! Beautiful refreshing scent with a rich, creamy and slick lather...
Another excellent shave with the razor paired with this (palm-stropped) blade!! Buttery smooth, very comfortable, and efficient in 3passes for a bbs finish! The aftershaves were great.

Comments	Since I finished the GD Asinus soap yesterday, I decided to go with an Ethos soaps I have. Today’s choice is the Ethos Unscented for the 24th time. The shave with this soap never disappoints. A nice, rich, lubricating lather. A nice, BBS shave. The soap is frugal since it lasts so long and you need so little for a BBS, comfortable shave.
