|Comments||Back to the Coates Sandalwood Cream. Perhaps because I have had it for so long, this cream is thicker than most others. However, it still performs perfectly. A nice shave on a nice AZ day. Have a good one gents.|
I like Lord Platinum so muchToday is
11 September, 2021
Pre: Wash w/CeraVe bar
Brush: RazoRock "Hive 24 Mokasoft" amber HD synth
Lather: Long Rifle "Brown Bess"
Razor: Feather "AS-D2"
Blade: Lord Platinum
Post: GBS Alum bar
Balm: CeraVe Lotion
Frag: Caron "Yatagan"
First shave with IB's RazoRock
"Hive 24 Mokasoft" brush. Very,
very nice brush. Plenty of backbone
for easy loading, yet cloud soft
and without scritch for face lathering.
Lathered up with autumnal "Brown Bess,"
and finished off in the spirit of the season
with smoky, spicy, sexy Yatagan.
What a confidence builder!
Stay healthy, and remember
those who gave all since 9.11.01 . . .
Looks like a winner and has the closed comb for added strength. Henry Gaisman(Owner of Autostrop & eventually chairman(owner) Gillette in 1930's) was genius at inventing and also a very shrewd business man, must of not seen a lot of promise in this model possibly or his corporate lower management, they could of been already tooled up for the Auto-strop possibly?“10” The Bo Derek of razors!
Unbelievable! Even though this 7 o’clock Autostrop was the prototype to the famed Valet Autostrops, it is continually blowing them all out of the water. It stands alone to this very day. I suppose since back in the day, stropping was necessary so the design of better stropping systems forced an evolution for marketability, but the prototype is a superior shaver.
