Razor: AutoStrop 7 O’Clock (1911-12) London, England
Blade: GEM (Personna) PTFE - modified (4)
Brush: FS - 26mm G4 Synthetic
Pre-Shave: CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
Lather: Proraso White (Sensitive Skin)
Aftershave: Stirling - Tea Tree (Toner)
“10” The Bo Derek of razors!
Unbelievable! Even though this 7 o’clock Autostrop was the prototype to the famed Valet Autostrops, it is continually blowing them all out of the water. It stands alone to this very day. I suppose since back in the day, stropping was necessary so the design of better stropping systems forced an evolution for marketability, but the prototype is a superior shaver.
It’s my first shave using the Proraso White. It seemed pretty good. I’ll need a few mare shaves with it yet.
I’ve been playing around with various splashes, toners and balms to find the right one for my normal/ oily skin type. As of late I’ve found Tea Tree oil to make my skin feel just about right. I just got this Stirling Tea Tree toner and it’s leaving my skin feeling smooth and resilient while keeping the oils at bay. Unfortunately, all the other Stirling tea tree product are out of stock in my market area. I hope they haven’t been discontinued.
