I tried my hand at honing for the first time this morning and decided to give my refreshed edge a spin. What I learned is that it looks easier than it is. Getting the feel for holding the razor just right while lapping the stone takes a touch that I will need practice developing. Nevertheless, my edge felt improved and it was a pleasure to use. I look forward to practicing this skill further and keeping my edges to my liking.
