Pre: Shower
Razor: Gillette Tech 1962 ball end
Blade: Personna Platinum (1)
Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia
Bowl: Timeless Black
Soap: Stirling Executive Man sample (7)
A/S: Captains Choice Venture
I’m noticing that my cheeks are very tender sensitive, and hot? after using this razor, albeit super BBS. I do my normal 3 pass shave wtg, xtg, atg, not sure what I am doing wrong. 🤷‍♂️ Any suggestions?

Pre: Noxzema face wash
Brush: Parker pure badger travel brush
Razor: Gillette N2 1968 Slim, setting 3
Blade: Astra SP (#3)
Soap: Stone Cottage Soapworks Hesperide
Post: Alum followed by Brut aftershave and chased with Soap Commander Integrity balm

First shave with the Slim on 3 was really good. Soap was good, pleasant clean scent (Stone Cottage has great scents overall) and plenty of lather. Maybe a tad drying when combined with the Brut, but that was easily corrected with some Soap Commander balm. Aqua Velva would have been a better fit, scent-wise and I don't find it to be drying since it has glycerin.

What other Gillettes does the Aristocrat compare to?
Too early to say.
I've only had time to use it once.
My initial impressions are it's both smooth and efficient.
The shave, day before yesterday was pleasant and very close.

If I wake up in time today I'll give it another go this afternoon before work.
I will compare it to some other Gillette razors during OCtober.

Have a nice sunday :)

Cold wet flannel to my face.

Simple ~ Sensitive Bar Soap + Wilko Men's shave Oil.

Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.

Bowl Lather.

Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.

Uber/Superlather: Williams Mug Shaving Soap + Erasmic shave cream.

Razor: 1970's Gillette Aluminum Handle Tech S4. (ENG)

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./ Brut ~ ASL.

Aloe Vera Gel.

A relaxing Williams Super-lather sunday shave.

The efficient smoothness of the indian gillette 7'0 clock sp matched up with the mild non-aggressive Tech S4 wonderfully making my sunday shave a pleasurable experience.

Another very comfortable 3 pass + pick ups DFS /near BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy you sunday ladies & gentlemen.
