Hi everyone, I am honoured to join this community with you all, this is my first post and I'm 1 year into the wet-shaving experience. As a 26 year old living in the UK, I have found something which can keep me excited or motivated to survive during the week, before I never had such an excitement or regular hobby ever in my life. Your pictures and shave sets are so fun to look at, I am starting to get addicted haha, it inspired me to take a photo of my current signature set-up in my first post, thanks for reading :)

Throw back shave! My first razor the 23c and the knot from my first brush, a parker silvertip transplanted into a ever ready 300 set with the loft a bit shorter. Since it's the harvest moon went with a full moon soap. Shave was great, used a feather blade a so no bum merkur blades to foul the shave. Brush is much better in this form, so much less flop.

A great shave.
Is this team of hardware and software the ultimate, or is it just my imagination? Dunno, but I'm happy. :letterk1:

Happy shaves guys. :cornut:

Welcome aboard! That's a fantastic setup! I have a Merkur 34c in my den as well. I like it but I found that using a vintage 1959 Gillette 195 aka the Fatboy has taken my shaving to higher levels.

Tue 21 SR SOTD
Soap Southern Witchcraft Samhain
Brush Yaqi 24mm Silvertip
Razor Ribbon 1000
Aftershaves Stirling Witchhazel MitA + Southern Witchcraft Samhain Splash.
A break from Stirling today. The SW soap qualities are very good too. The lather was creamy and slick with a scent I can only describe as pumpkinish...perhaps some tobaccoish...
Shave again with this razor after putting it through the pasted balsa progression. Still nice & smooth with some improvement to the edge...slightly keener. 3passes for an improved result of dfs/ccs/sas and no issues. Matching aftershave was good with some added frost drops but definitely not a family favorite😅.

That looks like a nice setup! Their is something about that soap that I find appealing. It just looks cool.

Excellent performance from this soap as usual. Nice fizzy cooling orangy scent with creamy and slick lather!
A very nice enjoyable shave with this razor. The edge felt really good. Smooth and comfortable for 3passes without any issues for a ccs/sas result. Awesome aftershaves as well!
