Pre: PAA Cube 2.0 face wash and then applied as a pre-shave (by applying exactly like a shave stick for the first pass)
Brush: AP Shave Co. handle with Shave Forge boar knot

A very good shave tonight. Used the Cube as a pre-shave for the first time. Thought it was a little gummy with the lather on the first pass (will compensate with more water next time), but the residual + lather on the second pass was just superb and very slick. My favorite part though was the menthol coolness it added to both passes. Overtook the soap's scent, but it sure felt nice. Plus, it fit for Menthol Monday (which I'd forgotten about until checking SOTD just now)!

Went back to WTG and XTG tonight and, contrary to my initial take last night, I definitely have a smoother shave as compared to two N-S passes.

Blade is going strong so I'm going for number 7 tomorrow.

Stellar shave, simply fantastic.
This Bronners bath soap is incredibly slick stuff. I got an excellent shave using it. Thought I’d experiment with it tonight. I like the scent of lavender and it works a lot better than the peppermint scented which stings during the shave..... Fabulous!!
I plan on using this soap in my rotation just for variety.
BTW I lathered it by hand, no brush.

Pre:


Cold wet flannel to my face.


Pears ~ Transparent Bar Soap + Wilko Men's shave Oil.


Brush : Fine 24mm Synthetic.


Bowl Lather.


Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.


Lather : G F. Trumper Violet Shaving Cream.



Blade: Centwin ~ SP. (3)


Razor: Wilkinson Sword Premium TTO.


Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint, lavender eucalyptus, +Tea Tree , lemon essential Oils + menthol crystals Witch Hazel Mixture./ Blue Stratos ASL.


Aloe Vera Gel.

Everything in my shave set up worked together superbly this morning resulting in a enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups DFS/ near BBS shave with no errors to report.

Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Slant razor paired with blade very smooth and comfortable. Efficient too. Very good combo.
A brief moment of lapse & too much pressure result in a weeper. Enjoyable shave! Rating 9/10
