Pre:

Cold wet flannel to my face.


Pears ~ Transparent Soap.


Brush: Turkish Unbranded Boar.


Bowl Lather.


Frankensoap: Williams Shaving Mug Soap. / Scottish Fine Shaving. Soap.

Blade: Parker Premium Platinum.(2)

Razor: Lord L125 .


Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade menthol crystals +Eucalyptus peppermint,+ Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./Old Spice ~Bearglove ASL Spray.

Aloe Vera Gel.

Another wonderfully relaxing sunday shave...

I purchased a job lot of 5 rounds of scottish fine shaving soap from Ebay well over a year now, i've experimented with grating and combined together the left overs of both the scottish fine shaving soap & williams shaving mug soap which created a superb frankensoap making a wonderful slick protective lather, and a leaves a outstandingly good post shave feel to the face.

A great soap which i will never get sick of shing with.The inexpensive Egyptian made lord razor paired together very nicely with the Parker P.P. blade making a wonderful non-aggressive, yet efficient duo.

A very comfortable 3 pass + pick ups enjoyable face stroking shave.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.

First shave with the newly acquired Mergress XL. A very handsome razor, and feels great in the hand. I normally shave with my Futur set on 2, but have been enjoying slightly more aggressive shaves of late, so dialed it up to 2.5. It might seem strange to some that I loaded the Mergress with a blade on its 8th outing, but anyone who has shaved with a P74 will know that this makes perfect sense.
The Wholly Kaw lather was predictably excellent; three comfortable passes and I was smoother than James Bond at a cocktail bar.
Finished with the fresh pine-dominant fougère scent of Knize Forest. Tricky to get this right, but the Austrians have done a marvelous job.

Shave 1: beautiful shave as usual from the Arko. Theres nothing else I i can say, its simply one of the best budget soaps out there performance wise.

Shave 2:
The best shave of my life. Perfect BBS shave from the bundubeard coffee. Perfect slick slickness and lather, absolutely faultless.

Soap: Bundubeard coffee
Aftershave balm: prep

Shave 3: great performance from the boots cool cologne, super good slickness with decent lather too. A bit more is needed than some thicker creams though.

I should almost start calling it Schick Sunday for myself, I like my Schick, GEM ..... razors and they usually deliver a nice shave when technique is good with a sharp blade. Schick made a lot of interesting (L type)theme razors also and I really enjoy that part of their history of injector razors.

Brush: Yaki Cashmere knot 24 mm
Pre shave: Brush wash face with CeraVe hand bar soap + dab Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Post shave: Dickinson's witch hazel
Post shave : Nivea balm + Fine fresh Vetiver AS with witch hazel
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + aftershave indicated minor irritation + 2 tiny blemish weepers=
