Razor: Yaqi V2 50mm AC Excalibur-Mfg 2021> great design and works well, tame mid range, carefree shave mostly.
Blade: Schick Proline P30 (1) sharp and smooth, longevity? First use of this blade.
Soap: Tabac, mild flowery type of scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm boar, excellent lather generator, soft split end hairs, great scrub + great lather painter.
Pre shave: (Cashmere 24mm)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizer cream(balm scentless).
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Yaqi V2 Excalibur + a Schick Proline P30.

Shaved my face…and my strop!
My first time shaving with this B1 AutoStrop. A close shave, although the post shave pulse tells me I probably overworked my moustache and chin area. Some red dots on my chin. I don’t shave with a mirror but knew I was going at it a little too aggressively.
I stropped the vintage Valet blade twenty times before shaving, but had a little accident. This newly acquired razor had a tendency to to stick on the flip-flop strop action. I ended up slicing a thin prosciutto thickness piece out of my strop. I’ll use a different razor for stropping on my next go round with this particular B1.

A wonderful shave.

Today, two of this great team move up to 1st place on their respective podiums (i.e. now my top favorites): the Flat Bottom Tech with its magical GT handle, and the Shavemac 2-Band which also has a magical handle for ergonomics and looks (IMO), not to mention being a lather monster. Both my white rabbit and I are very happy bunnies.
