re the calendar pages, the 6x6inch wall version just happens to be perfect size match for most shave items.
this is the standard setup; i'll drop in a printed sweep or pictorial background to try and add variety.

So *this* is how you guys get the seamless background!

My usual setup consists of cellphone camera, a corner of the desk (no bathroom counter), and a desk lamp. For occasional natural-light shots the shaving gear goes on a drop cloth atop the xylophone, which has a window in the background. But your photo gives me lots of ideas — and I am stoked. Might take me a while to figure it all out, but experimenting is half the fun.

Superb. This brush holds the largest and flattest knot I have had so far. Just three hand lathering and a previous shave and the dead-wet-dog scent is out. Florian just matched perfectly my day.

Shaving Recipe For Remembrance Sunday.


Prep: Hot shower:/ L'OREAL~ Hydra Sensitive Birch Sap Shower Gel.


Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Pears ~ Transparent Soap.

Brush: Anbbas Pure Boar.

Face Lather.

Soap : Boots ~ Original Shave Stick.

Blade: Trig Stainless (Blue Cover) .(2)

Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse.//Homemade Lavender + Tea Tree Oil Witch Hazel Mixture./ Boots ~ Freshwood ASL + Balm.

'In honour to the fallen heroes of all wars past & present'..'All politicians around the world should visit war memorials to be reminded what happens when politics fails'.

A relaxing 3 pass + pickups 'rememberance sunday' morning shave with no errors to report.

The trig blade gave the mild w.s. classic razor a more efficient edge, slicing through my stubble with ease...

Recently i've been using my humble shave sticks, which provided me with some excellent lathers. The boots stick has a nice fresh fragrance wetting the stick in hot water , then applying it directly into my stubble building a lather up on my face which created anough for the full shave, without having to re-apply the stick.

Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Boots ~ Freshwood A/S balm.
