TOBS Avocado Cream today. 20 seconds to load the Turtleship Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Schick Plus Platinum still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Highlands aftershave.

After shave : Nivea "Soin extra doux" balm, followed by TOBS Sandalwood AS Lotion.

Enjoyable cream, suited to the season - and a good surprise to me, as I expected it to smell a little too liquid-dish-soap kind of citrus.
The brush is a low-end pure badger, soon to be replaced with a silvertip fibre Mühle.
I'm getting progressively quite accustomed to Astra blades, after difficult beginnings (being used to Sharks).
I use AS balm and then AS lotion or cologne. Granted the balm has to be as scentless as possible, so I can enjoy the lotion's scent.

(and as a side note, I might be betrayed by the date on the watch : this is last wednesday's shave. Please forgive me !)

Star DE/Astra SS (2). Whether a better shave than yesterday with the Postwar Tech I can't say. A bit less smooth perhaps, closer, maybe but really too close to call.. . Easier to find the angle for sure. Both razors are capable of smoothing the crown stubble where many aggressive razors just throw in the towel.
