@ivan_101 asked me if I would prefer a Gillette Slim/Fatboy over the Progress and the answer is a clear NO
While I always think that the handle of the Progress is a bit too slippery in reality it isn't at all. Also the efficiency even on 3 is phenomenal. I will spend the rest of the week using the Progress and fooling around with the settings as well as doing a final comparison to the Slim and Fatboy. One of those two will be rotated out to make room for my new Red Tip that is currently in transit from the States.

So, now you know why I bought a second Progress.

Okay, I was wondering about your username just last week and I think you gave a clue. A Rook is a crow, which is black ,and I thought maybe your moniker was a play on that. But I also thought it might be the chess piece.

Final day of Mistura May Madness. It's been a great month. Really enjoyed the Misturas (mix of 50 % badger/50 % boar).
It's a strong recommendation for those who enjoy a decent backbone paired with nice soft tips. The scrub on Semogue's Mistura is just lovely.
