Thank you. I actually wasn't too impressed with the how the pic turned out. Weird lighting right after the rain, but apropos, I guess. It was a great shave, though.

This vintage Prima SE razor was manufactured in France and is on generous loan from @Chef Glenn (he also provided the cool green brush). Many thanks, Glenn!

Haven’t seen many of these razors on the forum, so I am including some additional photos of the Prima. It has a hinged head that opens with a twist of the spring-loaded knob at the base of the handle. Uses proprietary blades. Nice heft, intuitive angle, mild but effective shaver.

Razor: Razo Rock GC .68-P with Super Knurl handle (I absolutely love this razor, if I didn't suffer from RAD, I could live with this razor for the rest of my life).
Blade: Gillette Nacht (the perfect marriage of mild razor and sharp blade = BBS)
Post: Ogallala Bay Rum plus Sandalwood AS/Toner and Cremo Moisturizer. The scent and face feel from the Ogallala is amazing, I absolutely love this stuff.

Of all my Gillette razors the 1950's British Rocket gives one excellent shave and with a Gillette silver blue it is usually stellar. CCS>DFS>BBS
Razor: Gillette British 1950's Rocket

Soap: Italian barber
Brush: Razorock Noir Plissoft
Preshave: Wet the face with a warm wet face cloth for 40 seconds X 2 + afterwards apply some Aloe vera gel
Post shave : Alum + cold water rinse
Post shave : Razorock blue barber + witch hazel + Nivea balm
