Sunday shave

C5DBBD97-E883-423C-B077-0CF928846156.jpeg

Prep: Curology Cleanser
Soap: Stirling Weekend in Malibu
Brush: Omega B&B Essential boar
Razor: Parker 24C open comb
Blade: Gillette 365
Post: alum -> Pinaud Clubman Classic Vanilla aftershave

First use of a 365 blade and it worked out fine. Cut well and seemed to be fairly smooth. Two passes only for DFS face and mix of CCS/SAS neck. No feedback.

Razor: Muhle R41 Twist
Blade: Wilkinson Sword - Super Sword Edge (Made in England), day 3
Cream: TOBS Grapefruit, lathered in clay scuttle
Brush: Simpsons M7 Manchurian
Post: Thayers WH
Fragrance: Amouage Memoir

Finally get the hang of lathering up the TOBS to provide good comfort.
The R41 always serves are a reminder of my mortality, a few nicks given that dried up with the Thayhers.

Have a nice day / evening, gentlemen, and gentletts :)
Didn't know that Biotherm ("Biotherm de Monaco," as I remember) was still around. Is it still made by L'Oreal?

The Anbbas synthetic brush is superb considering it's price...I also have a Anbbas Boar brush another great addition to my humble shaving brush collection.
Definitely :) They make really good products, so it's pretty much a must-have, for any collection ;)

I have a couple of their metal bowls too :)

Yes it is, and still very popular in Europe, i don't know about the rest of the world?!... L'Oréal, under their division of Luxury Products, took the Biotherm brand over in like 1970 :) Usually i love L'Oréal, for the functionality of their products, they just tend to have this horrible synthetic scent, but not the Biotherm :) It annoys me, that some say it has a strong scent, that is just rubbish, it has a masculine scent, but very subtle, and doesn't interfere when putting on a perfume etc :)
